Apr 9

Depart from JFK Airport, New York for our flight to Prague, Czech Republic.  Dinner and breakfast will be served on the flight.

Apr 10

Upon arrival in Prague we will board the buses and travel to the city of Prague for Holy Mass at the Infant Jesus of Prague Sanctuary located in the Church of Our Lady of Victory.  After mass you may visit the gift shop and museum.  You will then have time for lunch and short visit in Prague.  Then we will drive to our hotel in Prague for dinner and overnight.  

Apr 11

We will visit Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II.  You will see the Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Sacrifice, where Karol Wojtyla was baptized and served as an altar boy.  You may also visit the family’s apartment, now a museum located just across the street from the church. 

Apr 12 After breakfast we will travel to Krakow to join in the celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday including the 3:00 p.m. Mercy Hour

After the celebration we will travel to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Apr 13

After breakfast we will visit Jasna Gora the shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa.  We will visit the chapel of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Czestochowa.  This chapel has been visited by many Popes including John Paul II and Benedict the XVI.  It has also been visited by St. Faustina and St. Maximillian Kolbe.  It is one of the holiest places in Poland.  We will also have a guided tour of the Shrine.  Dinner and overnight

Apr 14 



This morning we will have Mass in the chapel at St. Faustina’s Convent and a talk by one of the sisters of St. Faustina’s order.  She will explain a little about the life of Saint Faustina and the revelations about Divine Mercy that she received from Jesus.  You will have time to visit the chapel which houses St. Faustina’s remains; walk the lovely grounds around the convent or spend some time in the Basilica or the Adoration Chapel.  We will then travel to the city of Zvolen, Slovakia for dinner and overnight

Apr 15

This morning we will have Holy Mass in St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest. Over the main portal is a bust of King Stephen, Hungary's first Christian king and patron saint of the basilica. Inside the church is a reliquary with the "Holy Right", the preserved right hand of King Stephen. It is Hungarian Catholicism's holiest relic.  After our visit we will board our bus and travel to Medjugorje.  Dinner and overnight in Croatia

After breakfast we will continue our travel to Medjugorje arriving in the afternoon.

While in Medjugorje our group will attend the services at St. James Church climb Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain and hear a talk by one of the visionaries (if available).  We will attend the evening prayer service which begins with the Holy Rosary.  During the Rosary Our Lady gives her blessing to everyone there.  This is followed by the remainder of the Rosary and Holy Mass.   After Mass the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary are prayed.

Apr 19

Today we leave Medjugorje in the afternoon and travel to Split, Croatia where we will board our ship for our overnight crossing to Ancona, Italy.   

Apr 20

This morning we arrive in Ancona.  After breakfast we will leave the ship and board the bus for Loreto.  Loreto is the site of the Holy House of Nazareth. Tradition has it that this is the house where Mary prayed the Magnificat, where Jesus grew to manhood, and the Holy Family dwelled.  After our visit to the Holy House we will travel to Manoppello where we will see the Veil of Veronica. After our visit to Manoppello we will travel to Lanciano to see the 8th Century Eucharistic Miracle.  After our visit we will travel to our hotel in San giovanni Rotondo. Dinner and overnight

Apr 21 Today we will visit the tomb of Saint Padre Pio where you can see and venerate his incorrupt body. We will tour the old church and see the crucifix from which he received the stigmata in 1918. We will see his cell and the confessional where he spent many hours hearing confessions and directing pilgrims on their journey toward God.  Dinner and overnight   

Apr 22

Today we will attend the weekly audience of Pope Francis (if the Holy Father is available).  After the audience we will visit St. Peter’s Basilica.  You will have the opportunity to visit the tomb of Saint Pope John Paul, II and Saint Pope John XXIII. 

Apr 23

Today we will visit some of Rome’s famous Basilicas.  The Basilica of St. John Lateran is one of the four major basilicas of Rome and was named "mother of all the churches" because it is the Cathedral of Rome.  St. Mary Major, one of the oldest shrines dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, contains a relic of the manger in a crypt below the sacristy.  St. Paul Outside the Wall is dedicated to St. Paul the Apostle and is built over his grave.  We return to our hotel later in the afternoon.  Dinner and overnight 

Apr 24


This morning we will leave our hotel for Assisi where we will pray by the tombs of Saint Francis and Saint Claire.  We will walk through a typical medieval town with it's charm. Then we will visit the basilica of the Queen of Angels located on the spot where Francis lived with his first community.  Dinner and overnight 
Apr 25 Today on the way to Turin we will visit the shrine of Saint Peregrine, patron saint of cancer patients in Forli.  After our visit we will continue on to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Apr 26

Today we will visit St. John the Baptist Cathedral to view the Shroud of Turin.  According to tradition, the 14-foot-by-4-foot linen cloth is the burial shroud of Jesus. The shroud has a full-length photonegative image of a man, front and back, bearing signs of wounds that correspond to the Gospel accounts of the torture Jesus endured in his passion and death.

Depart for the airport for our flight back to the United States
