Tues Oct  16 Depart on our flight from USA to Athens, Greece.  Dinner and breakfast served on flight.
Wed Oct  17 Arrive in Athens where we will be met by our tour guide and travel to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Thurs Oct  18 Today we will visit the city of Athens and see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  We will then visit the most historical site in Athens, the Acropolis The Parthenon is the most important and characteristic monument of the ancient Greek civilization and still remains its international symbol. It was dedicated to Athena Parthenos, the patron goddess of Athens. It was built between 447 and 438 B.C.  While there we will visit Agora of Athens, an archaeological site located beneath the northwest slope of the Acropolis. Today we will also travel to see ancient Corinth and Corinth Canal.  We will then return to our hotel in Athens for dinner and overnight.

TToday we board the ship for a three-night cruise on the Aegean Sea.  On the cruise we will visit the islands of Hereklion and Crete.  We will go for complementary tours to Patmos Island where St. John the apostle wrote the book of Revelation and to Ephesus, Turkey to see the home of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the picturesque island of Santorini.  All other tours will be optional, at your own expense.

This morning we arrive Pireas port, disembark then travel to Kalambaka to visit the ancient Meteora orthodox monasteries.  Appropriate clothing is required to visit the monasteries. Sleeveless clothing and shorts are prohibited. Long skirts and blouses with sleeves or dresses and a head cover are recommended.  Long pants for men; no shorts or tank tops.  After our visit to the monasteries, we will continue to our hotel on the Olympic Riviera for dinner and overnight.

Tues Oct 23 After breakfast we will travel to ancient Philippi where Paul established the first church in Europe.  We celebrate Mass at the spot that commemorates Lydia of Thyatira’s baptism, the first Christian convert in Europe.  We will also visit Thessalonica where we will see the White tower, the city’s most recognizable spot.  We will also visit the basilica of St. Demetrios, Veria and ancient Berea.  We will reach our hotel by evening for dinner and overnight.
Wed Oct 24 Today we return to Athens. On the way we will take a short break at Thermopyles.  Dinner and overnight
Thurs Oct 25

Transfer to the airport, filled with cherished memories, for your return flight home.
