Oct 30

Depart from US for our flight Split, Croatia.  Dinner and breakfast will be served on the flight. 

Oct 31 Upon arrival, we will be met by our bus and tour guide and travel to Medjugorje.  We will arrive in time for pilgrims to take part in the International Mass at Saint James Church. 
Nov 1

While in Medjugorje our group will attend the services at St. James Church climb Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain and hear a talk by one of the visionaries (if available).  We will attend the evening prayer service which begins with the Holy Rosary.  During the Rosary Our Lady gives her blessing to everyone there.  This is followed by the remainder of the Rosary and Holy Mass.   After Mass the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary are prayed.

Nov 2 This morning we will attend the apparition of Our Lady to Marijana at the Blue Cross.  After the apparition, you will have time to climb Apparition Hill or Cross Mountain.  In the evening, we will attend the evening prayer service which begins with the Holy Rosary and International Mass.  During the Rosary Our Lady gives her blessing to everyone there.

Nov 3

This morning we will attend the English-speaking Mass.  We will leave Medjugorje in the afternoon and travel to Zagreb.  Dinner and overnight

Nov 4

This morning we will travel to Budapest, Hungary where we will visit St. Stephen's Basilica.  Over the main portal is a bust of King Stephen, Hungary's first Christian king and patron saint of the basilica. And inside the church is a reliquary with the "Holy Right", the preserved right hand of King Stephen. It is Hungarian Catholicism's holiest relic.  We will have Mass in Budapest.  After our visit we will board our bus and travel to Zvolen, Slovakia.  Dinner and overnight

Nov 5

After breakfast, we will travel to Poland where we will visit Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II.  You will see the Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Sacrifice, where Karol Wojtyla was baptized and served as an altar boy.  You may also visit the family’s apartment, now a museum located just across the street from the church.  After our visit, we will travel to our hotel in Kalwaria. Dinner and overnight

Nov 6

This morning we will travel to the Divine Mercy Shrine where we will have Mass in the chapel at St. Faustina’s Convent and have a talk by one of the sisters of St. Faustina’s order.  She will explain a little about the life of Saint Faustina and the revelations about Divine Mercy that she received from Jesus.  You will have time to visit the chapel which houses St. Faustina’s remains; walk the lovely grounds around the convent or spend some time in the Basilica or the Adoration Chapel.  We will also visit the John Paul II center then return to our hotel in Kalwaria for dinner and overnight.

 

     

Nov 7

Today we will visit Old Town Krakow, the Town Square and Royal Hill which includes Wawel Castle and Cathedral.  You will also have free time for shopping.  We will travel to our hotel in Czestochowa later in the afternoon.  Dinner and overnight

Nov 8 After breakfast, we will visit the chapel of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Czestochowa.  This chapel has been visited by many Popes including John Paul II and Benedict the XVI.  It has also been visited by St. Faustina and St. Maximillian Kolbe.  It is one of the holiest places in Poland.  We will also have a guided tour of the Shrine.  In the afternoon, we will travel to our hotel in Brno, Czech Republic.  Dinner and overnight
Nov 9

After breakfast, we will travel to Prague, Czech Republic where we will have Holy Mass at the Infant Jesus of Prague Sanctuary located in the Church of Our Lady of Victory.  After mass, you may visit the gift shop and museum.  You will then have time for lunch and short visit in Prague.  In the evening, we will return to our hotel in Brno for dinner and overnight.

Nov 10 After breakfast, we will travel to Vienna, Austria.  We will see Saint Stephen Cathedral, Old Town and Schonbrunn Gardens.  We will have dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night in Vienna

Nov 11

This morning we will visit Kahlenberg Hill.  It was here that the forces of the Holy Roman Empire of German Nation and the Kingdom of Poland joint to defeat the armies of the Ottoman Empire that besieged Vienna in 1683.  We then travel to Marktl, Bavaria, Germany, the birthplace of Pope Benedict XVI.  We will also visit the shrine of Our Lady of Altotting. This shrine is called the Lourdes of Germany because it is visited by so many pilgrims.  After our visit, we will continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Nov 12

After breakfast, we will visit Wieskirche, the perfect example of Bavarian baroque church and castle of Neuschwanstein.  Dinner and overnight

Nov 13

Today we will visit Augsburg and the shrine of Our Lady of Knots.  Since 1700, this painting has been venerated in the Church of St. Peter in Perlack, Germany.  We will then travel to Munich.  We will take and evening walk through the city.  Dinner and overnight

Nov 14 Depart for the airport for our flight back to the United States.
